Stone Quarry Melaune

The Melaune quarry is located not far from the A4 near Niederseifersdorf and well known for its particularly striking yellow stone colouring. Alongside standard items, special products such as 1/3 or 1/2 face gravels and the „Schlesische Wegedecke“ (Silesian road surface) are made here. This product has been used at Park Sanssouci in Potsdam, for example, or the Schloßgarten Charlottenburg in Berlin and the Fürst Pückler Park in Bad Muskau, which was awarded the title of UNESCO® World Heritage Site in 2004.
Clients in many European countries have also been supplied with special products made at this site.
